Experience
I have taught at the University level for eight years, but I have also worked in the Writing Center at the University. I enjoy not being the official "teacher"--which sometimes means students can be more honest about the areas of writing where they are struggling. I do not and will not simply proofread papers, but I will work with students on paper mechanics and how to correct common grammar errors, as well as arranging content and the like. I am also happy to help craft and edit "statements of purpose" and similarly related documents for admissions purposes.
